Heating — frequently asked questions
- Why are some of my radiators cold?
- Usually air in the system, a stuck valve, sludge build-up or a balancing issue. We diagnose the cause and fix it properly rather than just bleeding the radiator and leaving.
- Can you replace a single radiator?
- Yes — we replace individual radiators, move them, and fit new thermostatic valves. The system is drained down as needed, refilled and tested.
- My heating controls have stopped working — can you help?
- Yes. We repair and replace thermostats, programmers, zone valves and the wiring between them — a common cause of heating that will not come on or will not turn off.
- Do you work on boilers or gas appliances?
- No. We do not carry out boiler installation, boiler servicing, gas work or unvented cylinder work. We cover the wet side of your heating system — radiators, pipework, controls and vented hot water cylinders.
