- What should I do first when a pipe bursts?
- Turn the water off at the internal stopcock — usually under the kitchen sink — and open a cold tap to drain the pipes. Put towels or containers under the leak, then call us.
- What if water is near electrics?
- Keep clear of any water near sockets, switches or appliances. Do not touch anything electrical — isolation should be done by a competent person. Tell us when you call and we will talk you through what is safe.
- How fast can you get to me?
- We treat emergencies as a priority and aim to get to you as quickly as possible, subject to availability, traffic and location. Call and we will tell you straight what we can do.
